We had a rather awesome thunder/lightning storm last night, this is an image of the Shell refinery in Anacortes, Washington. The fire you see isn’t from the lightning, rather, it’s a flare stack used to vent excess pressure from a vessel. I got out there a little late in the game and only managed to get two shots worthy of posting, I’ll probably post the other for this coming Wordless Wednesday. Have a great weekend all…
The flare reminds me of Blade Runner…I can just hear Roy starting his speech “I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion…”
