Well, the 85mm @ f/1.8 theme is coming to a close, hope you have enjoyed it! I know that I have really enjoyed capturing images for this theme and I do have a few more I would like to post, so stay tuned!
I have NO idea what these little guys are called, I just know they were all over the place and all were starting to bloom…any thoughts?
f/1.8 | 1/1250 | iso 100 | Canon 85mm f/1.8
The texture is from >>Shadowhouse Creations<<, Raised Effect 1 texture from the Raised Effect Texture set. Blend mode used: Linear light
…Enjoy!

Damn, I missed Texture Thursday. As you can see, I’m doing some catching up. The parts selectively masked offer up a careful surprise. Brilliant !
Thank you Brandon! If you can believe it, no masking on this image! The blend mode brought the “look” just perfectly!
Wow…felt as if it was a painting a live one…like the way the flowers actually tend to just come out of the picture!!
As if the pop right? That’s what I thought especially the one in the upper left corner. Thank you for your comment.
Love the flowers and the background…. The flowers have a nice growing habit. I like the texture in the photo. It’s very soft…almost like brushed material…like a flannel. Gives a nice effect to the photo.
Thank you Judy. I really like this particular texture, reminds me of a paintings canvas.
interesting texture and pleasant your proposal today
Thank you Fabrizio, greatly appreciated.
