Thank you very much for not only your comment but for visiting as well! Hope to see you around.
Awww, thank you so very much!
I love this shot. I have a soft spot for good pictures of small wooden churches. I had a job one summer to document heritage churches in the middle of BC which almost incidentally included taking pictures. I learned a lot about how hard it is to get a good shot, especially if you only have a couple of hours per church and no control of which 2 hours they were – next church was always the next one, with a long drive, boat ride or float plane ride to the next one. Fun project, but not a lot of really satisfying images.
Sounds like a really interesting project, is it documented anywhere out there where it can be viewed?
I was pretty lucky for this shot, being at the right spot at the right time of day…it was a good day!
Unfortunately not. There was a very nicely produced and illustrated report that was not published (though probably should have been) which is now in some government library. I do have some ideas about resolving that problem and perhaps will get around to it one day, when I have time…
Max, thank you very much for your comment as well as for visiting.
¡Muy buena imagen! me encanta como el arbol se pierde en las nubes, saludos
Interesting, I see what you mean by the tree being lost in the clouds. Like, it was meant to meet the clouds somehow….thank you for the comment.

Outstanding silhouettes, David. Love the shape inside the opening of the bell/steeple and streaky lower clouds.
We think alike, I really both too.
